Softball Recap: Grosse Pointe North Comes Up Short

The Norsemen fell 5-0 to the Utica Chieftains on Wednesday. The Norsemen have struggled against the Chieftains recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Grosse Pointe North's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Utica, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-16.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Grosse Pointe North will square off against Mercy on Saturday. As for Utica, they will face off against Bloomfield Hills on Saturday.
