Basketball Recap: Marmaduke Takes a Loss

Marmaduke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 70-54 bruising from the Bay Yellowjackets. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-50 back in December of 2024.

Marmaduke's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Bay, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Marmaduke will host East Poinsett County at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Bay, they will face off against Rector at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Bay's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
