Volleyball Game Preview: Tompkins Falcons vs. Stratford Spartans

The Tompkins Falcons will take on the Stratford Spartans on Monday. Tompkins will be looking to extend their current 19-game winning streak.

Tompkins is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Clear Lake.

Lainey Monroe had an outrageously good game as she had 25 digs and five assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Chloe Cummings was another key player, getting nine digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Stratford earned a 3-1 win over Manvel on Friday.

Stratford's victory bumped their record up to 26-15. As for Tompkins, their win bumped their record up to 38-5.

Everything went Tompkins' way against Stratford in their previous matchup back in August, as Tompkins made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
