Softball Recap: Fort Leboeuf Beats West Middlesex for Their Third Straight Win

Fort LeBoeuf got themselves on the board against West Middlesex on Friday, but West Middlesex never followed suit. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Big Reds. The victory was just business as usual for the Bison, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

West Middlesex's batters probably weren't too happy with Kiernan Skelton, who pitched a no hitter and racked up seven Ks (she gave up two walks).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ibree Rodgers, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Kallie Stull was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

Fort LeBoeuf pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for West Middlesex, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Fort LeBoeuf will be playing at home against Jamestown at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Middlesex, they will face off against Sharon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
