Volleyball Game Preview: Notre Dame Academy Cougars vs. Hingham Harbormen

The Notre Dame Academy Cougars will challenge the Hingham Harbormen at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Notre Dame Academy is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Barnstable just ended the team's ten-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Red Hawks. Considering the last time the Cougars couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Hingham had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Everything went their way against the Lakers as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Hingham's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Notre Dame Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.

Notre Dame Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Hingham in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Harbormen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
