Baseball Recap: Houlton Takes a Loss

Houlton lost against Caribou two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Shiretowners lost 13-1 to the Vikings. The Shiretowners just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Houlton's record now sits at 1-6. As for Caribou, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Houlton will welcome Presque Isle at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Shiretowners are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Caribou, they will host Fort Kent at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
