Soccer Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

Wilson's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Crestwood Knights by a score of 2-1. If Wilson were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to Crestwood when the teams met back in February of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wilson's goal came courtesy of Sam Floyd, who's now up to six this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Wilson and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Crestwood, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Wilson will face off against South Florence at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crestwood, they have already played their next matchup, a 5-0 defeat against Hartsville on the 21st.
