Dallas Academy never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against St. Mary on Friday. They walked away with a 50-41 win over the Rams. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Chris Stephens threw for 41 yards and a pair of TDs. On the ground, Jack Wilson rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns.

When it comes to explaining why St. Mary's lost, don't look at Steven Reyes. Despite the final result, he rushed for 218 yards and five scores while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Reyes' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 141 rushing yards.

Dallas Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for St. Mary's, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Dallas Academy nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
