Basketball Recap: Haas Hall Academy Comes Up Short

Haas Hall Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were beaten by the Lincoln Wolves 83-56. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-45 back in January.

Despite the loss, Haas Hall Academy still got an impressive performance from Tobe Duru, who shot 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Duru a new career-high in points. Max Weilert was another key player, putting up seven points.

Haas Hall Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-23. As for Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Haas Hall Academy will head out to take on Greenland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Haas Hall Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
