It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Parrish Community had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  win over the Mitchell Mustangs. The  victory was familiar territory for the Bulls, who have now won five  matchups in a row.
 Emmaline Van Beck spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Mackenzie Pandelo was  excellent,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jersie Rohde, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base.
Parrish Community's win bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Mitchell, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-7.
 Looking ahead, Parrish Community will take on Pace at 12:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Bulls 2.1, the Patriots 1.4) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Mitchell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
