Soccer Recap: Henry County Comes Up Short

Henry County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Carroll County Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Henry County of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Henry County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Carroll County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Henry County will challenge Owen County at 6:00 p.m. on September 3. As for Carroll County, they will square off against North Oldham at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
