Basketball Game Preview: Lubbock Christian Eagles vs. Midland Classical Academy Knights

The Lubbock Christian Eagles will challenge the Midland Classical Academy Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lubbock Christian comes in on four and Midland Classical Academy on 16.

Lubbock Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Trinity Christian 75-28 on Saturday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-16.

Meanwhile, Midland Classical Academy beat Lake Country Christian 49-39 on Friday.

Midland Classical Academy's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.6 points. As for Lubbock Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Lubbock Christian came up short against Midland Classical Academy when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 69-62. Can Lubbock Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
