Volleyball Recap: Menasha Find Success

Menasha won the last time they faced Marinette and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bluejays walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Marines.

Isabella Stephani paced Menasha's offense, picking up five kills. Stephani got some help from Iylee Mahoney and her five assists. Annabelle Guyette controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Menasha's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Marinette, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Menasha and Marinette could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Bluejays will take on St. Mary Catholic at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (223 vs. 111). Meanwhile, Marinette (ranked 393rd) will meet Little Chute (ranked 193rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
