Football Recap: Orange Comes Up Short

Orange lost against Perry back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions were dealt a 55-14 loss at the hands of the Pirates. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Orange and nudges their season record down to 2-5. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 4-2 Harvey (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 69% over those games). As for Perry, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Orange is set to challenge their familiar foe Hawken at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Perry will face off against rival Harvey at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
