Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Martinville). Everything went their way against Westgate on Monday as they made off with an 18-5 win. The high-scoring effort was just what St. Martinville needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

St. Martinville let Dixon Aymond and Jayton Walker run wild. Aymond scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4, while Walker scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-5. That's the most hits Walker has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Branson Chiasson, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

St. Martinville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westgate only posted an OBP of .371.

St. Martinville moved to 12-20 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Westgate, they dropped their record down to 3-18 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither St. Martinville nor Westgate have any future games scheduled.
