Baseball Recap: Mapleton Takes a Loss

Mapleton managed to slip by Western Reserve the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mounties lost 15-2 to the Roughriders on Tuesday. The Mounties were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Roughriders earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Mapleton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Western Reserve, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Mapleton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-8 loss against Keystone on the 10th. As for Western Reserve, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-1 defeat against Margaretta on the 8th.
