For the second straight game, Triton will face off against Western Harnett. The Hawks will welcome the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Triton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Triton turned things around against Western Harnett on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 9-1 win. Considering the Hawks have won nine matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Berkley Campbell, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Bailey Johnson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Triton hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in five consecutive contests.

Triton's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Western Harnett, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Triton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Western Harnett struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
