Mountain Home has gone a perfect 7-0 against Van Buren recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bombers will head out to challenge the Pointers at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

Van Buren will be up against a hot Mountain Home squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Bombers' way against Russellville on Friday as they made off with a 67-47 win. Given the Bombers' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Cyclones are ranked 125th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Van Buren got the win against Russellville on Tuesday by a conclusive 50-29. The Pointers haven't had any issues with the Cyclones recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Mountain Home's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Van Buren, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Mountain Home came out on top in a nail-biter against Van Buren in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, sneaking past 49-46. Will the Bombers repeat their success, or do the Pointers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
