Volleyball Recap: Center Point Starts Season with Victory at Home

Center Point took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Cole Cougars by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Center Point might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Cole scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 18-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Cobee Beckerson paced Center Point's offense, picking up 25 kills. Beckerson got some help from Kaylani Ritter and her 25 assists. Giselle Munoz controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Center Point will head out on the road to challenge Brackett at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cole, they will be taking part in a tournament against Fox Tech at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
