Basketball Recap: Owen Extends Winning Streak to Four

Owen put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the R-S Central Hilltoppers as they made off with a 69-49 victory. That 20 point margin sets a new team best for the Warhorses this season.

Jackson Warnock had another great game (as he tends to do), dropping a double-double with 24 points and ten rebounds. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Asante Martin, who went 8-for-20 on his way to 20 points.

Owen was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Owen's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for R-S Central, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Owen will be playing in front of their home fans against North Henderson at 8:00 p.m. on the 4th. R-S Central has already played their next contest (against McDowell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
