Softball Recap: Gramercy Christian Comes Up Short

Gramercy Christian lost against Pamlico Christian Academy last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mariners. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly four runs.

Gramercy Christian is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 6.3 runs this season. As for Pamlico Christian Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Coming up, Gramercy Christian will square off against Ahoskie Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pamlico Christian Academy, they will welcome Faith Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
