Basketball Recap: Fillmore Takes a Loss

Fillmore and Kaiser squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Fillmore had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Kaiser Cats 65-24. Having soared to a lofty 68 points in the game before, the Flashes couldn't push the score so high this time.

Fillmore's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Kaiser, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Fillmore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kaiser, they will take on Indian Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Indian Springs comes in on three and Kaiser on seven.
