Football Game Preview: Destiny Christian Academy Lions vs. Woodcreek Timberwolves + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the Destiny Christian Academy Lions and the Woodcreek Timberwolves will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Destiny Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions two weeks ago. Destiny Christian Academy claimed a resounding 50-0 victory over McClatchy. Given Destiny Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 276th, while McClatchy is ranked 810th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Destiny Christian Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of K'Aden Minor, who gained 95 total yards, and Austin Pierce, who threw for 172 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.

Meanwhile, Woodcreek didn't have too much breathing room in their game against West Park two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 18-14 win. Those 18 points were actually the fewest the Timberwolves have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Woodcreek's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Destiny Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
