Volleyball Game Preview: Quemado Eagles vs. Logan Longhorns

Quemado hasn't had much luck against Logan recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Eagles will face off against the Longhorns at 10:00 a.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Quemado is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Roy/Mosquero, sneaking past 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Blue/Lady Blue: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Logan sidestepped Elida for a 3-2 victory.

Logan's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Quemado, their victory bumped their record up to 22-3.

Quemado came up short against Logan when the teams last played back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
