Volleyball Recap: Chula Vista Takes a Loss

Chula Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Diego Cavers. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Cavers when the teams met back in February of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chula Vista's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for San Diego, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Coincidentally, Chula Vista and San Diego will both be playing Christian the next time they take the court. Chula Vista will head out to face Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while San Diego will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
