Basketball Recap: Carmichaels Takes a Loss

Carmichaels was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers 55-21. The matchup marked the Mighty Mikes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Carmichaels' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Chartiers-Houston, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Carmichaels won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Burgettstown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chartiers-Houston, they and West Greene will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
