Basketball Game Preview: West Clermont Wolves vs. Lebanon Warriors

West Clermont and Lebanon are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Wolves will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Clermont knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Lebanon likes a good challenge.

West Clermont is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Milford: they outscored them in every quarter. The Wolves blew past the Eagles 62-39 on Tuesday. Fans of the Wolves have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

West Clermont got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bella Swisshelm out in front who went 5-for-9 on her way to 17 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Swisshelm's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Layla Hale, who posted 17 points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: West Clermont was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Milford only racked up eight.

Meanwhile, Lebanon can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against Loveland by a score of 52-44.

West Clermont's record now sits at 4-0. As for Lebanon, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3.

West Clermont didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Lebanon when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 50-44 victory. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
