Soccer Recap: Dr. Phillips' Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Dr. Phillips was not quite Ocoee's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Ocoee Knights by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Audrey Wassendorf, who's now up to nine this season.

Dr. Phillips moved to 4-1-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Ocoee, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Dr. Phillips will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Olympia at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Ocoee, they will square off against East River at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
