Pike County's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against Rock Springs Christian Academy as the Pike County Pirates made off with a 46-26 win. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Pike County was led to victory by Kerrah Foster and Sadie Lewis. Foster posted ten points and three steals, while Lewis put up five points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Aubree Reese, who had five points.

Despite the defeat, Rock Springs Christian Academy had strong showings from Tinley Shiflett, who earned nine points and six boards, and Mckinleigh Norwood, who scored nine points. That was a full 34.6% of Rock Springs Christian Academy's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Pike County's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Pike County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-39 win against Rutland on the 17th. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-14 victory against St. Mary's Academy on the 17th.
