Baseball Game Preview: Georgetown Royals vs. Pentucket Regional

The Georgetown Royals will face off against Pentucket Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Georgetown took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Hamilton-Wenham Regional, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Royals had just enough and edged out the Generals 5-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Meanwhile, Pentucket Regional earned a 6-1 win over Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School on Saturday.

Pentucket Regional's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Georgetown, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Georgetown came out on top in a nail-biter against Pentucket Regional when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do Pentucket Regional have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
