Durham School of the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 17-13 to the Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans. On the bright side, the 13- run effort marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring contest to date.

Arianna Dillon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aniah Satterfield, who scored four runs while going 3-for-4.

Durham School of the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Durham School of the Arts and Southern School of Energy and Sustainability will both be playing J.F. Webb the next time they take the field. The Spartans will host the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
