Edwin Cortez Game Report: vs Hartington-Newcastle

On Thursday Edwin Cortez racked up double-digit total tackles for the very first time. He picked up a sack and made ten total tackles as Wisner-Pilger took down Hartington-Newcastle 38-28. The effort beat out his previous best set on Friday, when he made nine total tackles.

Looking ahead, Cortez and Wisner-Pilger will take on Sandy Creek on Friday. Cortez has dominated as far as total tackles are concerned (he's averaged 6.4 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Cougars have only allowed 36.89 per game this season.
