Basketball Recap: Academy at Palumbo Griffin vs. Northeast Vikings
Academy at Palumbo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 62-52 to the Northeast Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Griffin of the 52-38 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Matthew Brown and Taj Medley certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Brown posted 20 points, while Medley earned 17 points. The dominant performance gave Medley a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julius Pommells, who had seven points.
Jonathan Miller continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Northeast, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was James Walker, who put up eight points.
