Soccer Recap: The Colony Comes Up Short

The Colony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They came up short against the Newman Smith Trojans, falling 5-0. One thing that didn't help the Cougars' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Leo Hernandez.

The Colony's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Newman Smith, their victory bumped their record up to 4-13.

The Colony didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-0 defeat against Highland Park on the 4th. As for Newman Smith, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Reedy on the 4th.
