Milford won the last time they faced Kopperl and things went their way on Friday too. The Milford Bulldogs couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 72-11 blowout they got against the Kopperl Eagles. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Milford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brooklynn Washington, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 steals. The dominant performance gave Washington a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycee Rigsby, who went 8 of 16 on her way to 22 points in addition to eight boards and five assists.

Milford smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Milford pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.8 points per game. As for Kopperl, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Coincidentally, Milford and Kopperl will both be playing Blum the next time they take the court. Kopperl will host Blum at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Milford will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on January 10th.
