Soccer Recap: Western Comes Up Short

Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Norrix Knights. If Western were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Norrix when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Western's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Norrix, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Western will host Haslett at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Haslett's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Western's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Norrix, they have already played their next match, a 6-0 win against Pennfield on the 12th.
