Volleyball Recap: Johnstown-Monroe Has No Trouble Against Northmor

Johnstown-Monroe lost to Northmor back in October of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Johnnies blew past the Golden Knights 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Johnnies.

One reason for the win was Johnstown-Monroe's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-9.

Audrey Mccrady paced Johnstown-Monroe's offense, picking up 15 kills. Mccrady got some help from Addy Hazelbaker and her 17 assists. Hazelbaker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Johnstown-Monroe's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Northmor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Johnstown-Monroe and Utica will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northmor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
