Football Recap: Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes vs. Port Washington Pirates
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Whitefish Bay had no problem doing just that on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Port Washington Pirates 17-15. This was payback for the Blue Dukes, who suffered a 27-21 defeat the last time these two teams met.

A big part of Whitefish Bay's win came down to the chemistry between Chase Wolter and his top target Mace Miskel. Wolter threw for 242 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Miskel picked up 114 receiving yards and two TDs. Those 242 passing yards gave Wolter a new career-high. A healthy portion of Wolter's aerial production (85 yards to be exact) also went to Reggie Hart.
Whitefish Bay didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kellen Busalacchi and George Frieder.
The victory made it two in a row for Whitefish Bay and bumps their season record up to 5-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 22 points in those games. As for Port Washington, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.
Looking ahead, Whitefish Bay will venture away from home to take on Martin Luther at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Port Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
