Brayden Givens put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Givens' effort led Hawkins over Como-Pickton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
