Basketball Recap: Mcfarland Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

McFarland won the last time they faced Turner and things went their way on Saturday too. The McFarland Spartans walked away with a 66-55 win over the Turner Trojans. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Trojans are ranked 254th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

McFarland pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.9 points per game. As for Turner, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

McFarland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-61 win against Sauk Prairie on the 4th. As for Turner, they will square off against Whitewater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Turner is facing Whitewater at the right time seeing as Whitewater is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
