Volleyball Game Preview: Lower Merion Aces vs. Valley Forge Military Academy Trojans

The Lower Merion Aces are taking a road trip to challenge the Valley Forge Military Academy Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lower Merion took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Everything went their way against Ridley as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Aces in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won six in a row.

While Lower Merion won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 25-22.

Lower Merion found their leader in sophomore Keira Li, who had 14 digs and two assists.

Meanwhile, Valley Forge Military Academy had just enough and edged out Marple Newtown 3-2 on Monday.

The win got Valley Forge Military Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Lower Merion, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
