It was a good run, but Van Nuys unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Venice Gondoliers. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Wolves were not able to get on the board.

Van Nuys' defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Venice, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Van Nuys wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Wildwood on the 7th. As for Venice, they will challenge Sylmar at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
