Volleyball Game Preview: Willow Canyon Wildcats vs. Cienega Bobcats

The Willow Canyon Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Cienega Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Willow Canyon took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Verrado. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Vipers: they've now won four in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Verrado scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 29-27.

Meanwhile, Cienega had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams.

Cienega's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-5. As for Willow Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 25-10.
