Basketball Recap: Kenosha Christian Life's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Kenosha Christian Life had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 62-56 victory over the Cristo Rey St. Martin CRSM on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-16 back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Cristo Rey St. Martin still got an impressive performance from Alexy Chapa, who dropped a double-double on 34 points and 13 rebounds. That was a full 60.7% of Cristo Rey St. Martin's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Lilibeth Martinez, who went 5 for 8 en route to 16 points.

Kenosha Christian Life's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11. As for Cristo Rey St. Martin, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
