Football Recap: Highland Falls Short Against Ranked Perry + How To Watch

Highland faced Perry in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Hawks lost 35-10 to the Pumas. The loss leaves the Hawks still looking for their first win of the season.

Despite the defeat, Highland had strong showings from Cayman Mullenaux, who rushed for 80 yards and one score, and Kruz Cullimore, who rushed for 49 yards.

A big part of Perry's victory came down to the chemistry between Kael Snyder and his top target Amos Augustine. Snyder threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt while Augustine picked up 178 receiving yards and three TDs. Those 178 receiving yards gave Augustine a new career-high.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Perry, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
