Football Recap: Patriot Beats Norte Vista for Their Fourth Straight Win

Patriot extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Nathan Villanueva. The Warriors strolled past the Norte Vista Braves with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 28-13 for which the team can thank Villanueva, who rushed for 180 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 88 yards and one TD on only eight passes. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made nine total tackles.

Patriot's record now sits at 6-1. As for Norte Vista, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Patriot is set to square off against their familiar foe Rubidoux at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Norte Vista will take on rival Ramona at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th.
