Soccer Recap: Lufkin Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lufkin can now relate to. They lost 5-0 to the Walnut Grove Wildcats on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for the Panthers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

This is the second loss in a row for Lufkin and nudges their season record down to 11-7-5. As for Walnut Grove, the win keeps them at an undefeated 20-0-2.

As of now, neither Lufkin nor Walnut Grove have any future games scheduled.
