Volleyball Recap: Groesbeck's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

After losing to Marlin the last time they met, Groesbeck decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Goats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs on Friday.

Groesbeck easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17.

Groesbeck's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Marlin, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Coincidentally, Groesbeck and Marlin will both be playing Centerville the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Tigers on Friday, while the Goats will play them later in the day, at 8:00 a.m.
