Basketball Game Preview: Ragland Purple Devils vs. St. Clair County Fighting Saints

The Ragland Purple Devils will face off against the St. Clair County Fighting Saints at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ragland comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Friday, Ragland ended up a good deal behind Jefferson Christian Academy and lost 53-39.

Meanwhile, St. Clair County played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 65-16 loss at the hands of Jacksonville. The defeat continues a trend for the Fighting Saints in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

St. Clair County's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Ragland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Ragland strolled past St. Clair County when the teams last played back in January of 2022 by a score of 43-28. Will Ragland repeat their success, or does St. Clair County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
