Ithaca extended the longest winning streak in Tri-Valley - West this week by beating Hemlock, 49-14. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Yellowjackets.

Ithaca was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping the Huskies. Terry Hessbrook's team came in at 14 in the state poll after placing at number 33 last week.

The Yellowjackets' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Travis Smith threw for 332 and five touchdowns and Caden Kipp had 104 yards receiving. On the ground Smith chipped in 70 yards. Zach Allen helped Ithaca's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 94 yards.

Ithaca's Smith and Kipp have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Smith has thrown for 2028 yards this season, while Kipp, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 25 catches for 534 yards. Michigan Lutheran Seminary's Stephen Dietrich leads the league in rushing yards with 1269.

The Yellowjackets took down Hemlock 49-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Smith in the win.
